The patterns drawn by Curvay can be quite interesting and appealing in their own right but they can also be enhanced by coloring. When the mouse is moved into the drawing area the pointer turns into a “crayon”. Clicking anywhere on the drawing colors the region pointed to by the tip of the crayon. The color covers the all territory that is not separated from the crayon tip by pattern lines or other colors. If you click outside the pattern, the color will typically flow into all four corners of the drawing area, effectively changing the background color.
The color wheel offers quite a few color choices. Additional colors can be mixed (see Color Mixers for details). You can also match a color that already appears in the drawing by pointing to it with the tip of the crayon, clicking with the right mouse button and selecting “Pickup Color” from the menu that appears.
