Sign-In Dialog (not available on-line)

Pressing the sign-in button displays the sign-in dialog. The sign-in dialog allows you to establish an identity within the Curvay. Curvay maintains individualized data, including wave-pairs, color mixtures and a gallery, for each unique identity.

To establish a new identity, type a name in the box below the “Enter Name:” prompt. To activate the new name either press return or click the OK button at the bottom of the dialog.

To activate an existing identity, select it in the list below the “Select Name:” prompt. Press enter or click the OK button to accept the selection.

To delete an existing identity, select it and then press the delete button that appears to the right of the list. The identity will be removed from the list immediately but not eliminated from the system until you click the OK button (or press return). At that time you will be prompted regarding the disposition of data associated with the obsolete identity. The data may be retained for possible reinstatement or permanently deleted.

To rename an existing identity, select it and then press the rename button that appears to the right of the list. You will then be prompted for the new name. The new name will appear in the list immediately, but it will not actually take effect until you click the OK button (or press return).

Some program features, context menus in particular, may be troublesome for very young users. Uncheck the box below the list of names to disable these features for the currently selected identity.
